Yak's 'Space Giraffe'

Jeff 'Yak' Minter is perhaps one of the most important video game designers/programmers in history, and he's one of the _very_ few (the only one?) that just kept on doing whatever he was doing, making great games, the way he likes them. No compromises.

You can read all about him at this wikipedia entry, or at the official Llamasoft site.

In this post I just want to tell you about his upcoming xbox 360 game (it will be on xbla) Space Giraffe, which, in it's current form, looks like a high paced psychedelic shooter with some game play elements from Tempest and a Giraffe as the main character. I'm looking forward to playing this one (althought I don't owe a xbox 360 ... yet).

His journal is actually quite fun to read, and you can find it here : http://stinkygoat.livejournal.com/.
